College Football Picks
I’m pleased to announce that I finished (barely!) in the black after 14 weeks of college football picks.
I promised — if you were crazy enough to follow along — to have your money squarely in the black at season’s end.
Thanks to a 2-1 “Championship Week”, bolstered by Alabama and Michigan, I finished the college football picks season at 20-19.
There’s no way I’m picking any of the bowl games — the lines will be all over the place, AND no one can really get a handle on these kids’ motivation(s) these days.
Instead, I’ll focus on getting back above water on the NFL picks.
Last Week (Wk. 13) 2-1 / Overall: 15-21
What I got right:
- Dolphins (-6)
- Washington (+1.5)
What I missed:
- Man, I missed bad on the Texans (+10).
WASHINGTON (+4.5) vs Cowboys
Mike McCarthy proclaims Dallas will beat the Football Team… yeah, I don’t see Dallas covering.
PACKERS (-12.5) vs Bears
CHARGERS (-10) vs N.Y. Giants
Are you bracing yourself for a New England (Belichick) vs. Tampa Bay (Brady/Gronk) Super Bowl in February?
That’s where we’re headed folks.
If New England can waltz into Buffalo with a run-heavy offense and win, nobody is out-coaching Belichick in January.
AND, the Patriots will have home-field advantage, which sucks if you’re one of Kansas City, Tennessee or San Diego.
Have a great rest of the weekend.
Good luck to your teams!
